Transgender Parents

Rémy Huberdeau’s documentary, Transgender Parents, shares multiple stories of real-life trans parents in Canada, revealing their cultural diversity and socio-economic challenges with a nuance that has yet to enter the mainstream cultural conversation about transgender people who are parents. The film premiered last December on the Canadian Broadcasting Company’s Documentary Channel, and screened on tour across Europe in October 2015. In partnership with Winnipeg’s Reel Pride Festival, Spur will host a talkback with director Rémy Huberdeau following the film.

Transgender Parents has been rated PG (not recommended for young children, mature theme).
